World’s largest creator economy gathering returns under ‘Content for Good’ theme
DUBAI – All tickets for the fourth edition of the 1 Billion Followers Summit have officially sold out, underscoring the event’s growing global influence within the rapidly expanding content creator economy.
The announcement comes days ahead of the Summit’s opening in Dubai, where thousands of creators, industry leaders and digital innovators are set to converge for three days of discussions, networking and high-profile sessions.
Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, the Summit will take place next Friday across three iconic locations: Emirates Towers, DIFC and the Museum of the Future. Organised by the UAE Government Media Office, the event runs under the theme ‘Content for Good’, highlighting the role of digital media in driving positive social impact.
This year’s sell-out reflects the Summit’s established status as the world’s largest event dedicated to shaping the future of the content creator economy, with demand exceeding capacity across all ticket categories.
1 Billion Followers Summit
The fourth edition of the 1 Billion Followers Summit is expected to attract more than 30,000 attendees, including over 15,000 content creators from around the world. The programme features more than 500 speakers whose combined online following exceeds 3.5 billion, offering audiences rare access to some of the most influential voices shaping digital culture today.
Across the three-day event, participants will be able to attend over 580 keynote sessions, panel discussions, roundtables, debates, fireside chats and workshops. These sessions are designed to address emerging trends within the creator economy, with a particular focus on the future of digital platforms, monetisation models and responsible content creation.
More than 150 CEOs, founders and industry experts from regional and international markets will take part, positioning the Summit as a central hub for high-level dialogue on the evolving media landscape.
Ticket access
Ticket offerings for the Summit included VIP, Expo and Creator Pro categories, all of which have now reached full capacity. VIP ticket holders are granted three-day access to all sessions, speaker halls, roundtables and off-summit events, along with entry to the Summit’s closing ceremony, which will feature a range of curated activities.
The Expo and Creator Pro tickets also provided three-day access to sessions across the event’s three core tracks: Technology, Economy and Content. These tracks are designed to ensure both established and emerging creators can benefit from the Summit’s diverse agenda. The Creator Pro option further includes access to off-summit events, the closing ceremony and additional privileges aimed at professional development and networking.
Star speakers
The 2026 programme brings together a high-profile lineup of speakers from across entertainment, business, sport and digital media. Among the confirmed names is James Stephen Donaldson, widely known as MrBeast, creator of the world’s largest YouTube channel by subscriber count.
Other key participants include Lara Trump, television producer and host; American actor and producer Will Smith; comedian, producer and podcaster Max Amini; British entrepreneur and investor Simon Squibb; Emaar founder Mohamed Alabbar; and retired England football star Rio Ferdinand, renowned for his career at both club and international level.
Their participation reflects the Summit’s broad appeal across sectors, uniting storytelling, entrepreneurship and influence under one platform.
Platforms and initiatives
For the second consecutive year, the Summit will host the world’s major social media and technology platforms under one roof. Participating companies include Snapchat, X, YouTube, TikTok, Google Gemini, Meta platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp, Disney+ and Twitch.
Beyond panel discussions, the Summit has also launched several initiatives that have generated global interest. Among them is the 1 Billion Acts of Kindness campaign, launched in collaboration with MrBeast and supported by the Mohammed bin Rashid Global Initiatives and the Varkey Foundation. The campaign has inspired more than 170,000 acts of kindness, attracting over 100,000 views within three weeks.
Another major highlight is the AI Film Award, introduced in partnership with Google Gemini. Valued at $1 million, it is regarded as the world’s largest award of its kind. The initiative has drawn interest from over 30,000 people across 116 countries and received 3,500 film submissions, reinforcing the Summit’s role as a launchpad for innovation at the intersection of technology and creativity.
