Premier Inn Middle East launches UAE Ramadan art competition – here’s how to enter
Family stay and Abu Dhabi attractions among prizes
DUBAI – Premier Inn Middle East has launched a nationwide Ramadan Art Competition, inviting children aged three to 11 across the UAE to express their creativity through the theme ‘My Family in Ramadan’.
The initiative forms part of the group’s celebration of Ramadan and the Year of The Family, placing the spotlight on togetherness, generosity and shared traditions during the Holy Month.
Young participants are encouraged to illustrate how their families celebrate Ramadan, from moments around the iftar table to acts of kindness and reflection. The competition aims to capture the spirit of unity and community that defines the season, while offering children a platform to share their artistic interpretations.

Entries will be assessed by a panel comprising Ashley Marsden, Head of Art, and Moustafa Mahmoud, Head of Islamic Department, from JESS Dubai School, alongside Maryam Alkaabi and Mohammed Malik from Premier Inn’s People & Culture team, and Managing Director Simon Leigh. Winning artworks will be displayed across the company’s newly refurbished hotels in the region.
Maryam Alkaabi, Talent and Nationalisation Lead at Premier Inn Middle East, said Ramadan is a time for reflection, growth and acts of kindness, when families come together to strengthen bonds. She added that the group looks forward to seeing how young artists interpret these values and share their creativity with the wider community.
Prizes announced
Winners in the competition will receive a family stay at Premier Inn Abu Dhabi Capital Centre, including breakfast and dinner, as well as a family visit to The National Aquarium Abu Dhabi.
Runners-up will be awarded a family day out to the newly opened Butterfly Gardens Abu Dhabi, described as an immersive attraction offering visitors a close-up experience with nature.
How to participate
Children may enter one of three age categories: three to five years, six to eight years, and nine to 11 years. To participate, entrants must create an artwork visualising ‘My Family in Ramadan’ and submit it via the official Ramadan Art Competition form by 20 March 2026.
