ATM 2026 Dubai shifts to September: What drove the surprise date change?
Expanded participation opportunities expected for exhibitors and international buyers
DUBAI – Dubai is set to host a major shift in the global travel calendar as Arabian Travel Market 2026 confirms revised dates.
The leading tourism exhibition will now take place from 14th to 17th September 2026, moving from its previously scheduled slot. The change has been announced following extensive consultation with exhibitors, partners and wider industry stakeholders. Organisers say the adjustment reflects a continued effort to align the event more closely with the needs of the international travel sector.
Arabian Travel Market, organised by RX Global, will once again be staged at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The revised dates are expected to strengthen participation from global buyers, exhibitors and tourism boards, offering improved scheduling flexibility across key markets.
Revised dates
RX Global confirmed that the decision follows sustained dialogue with industry participants, with feedback highlighting the need for an optimised calendar placement.
Danielle Curtis, Regional Portfolio Director – UAE, said the move reflects ongoing collaboration across the travel ecosystem, aimed at maximising business and networking outcomes. She noted that the updated timing is designed to ensure stronger global attendance and more effective engagement across all event segments.
Industry input
Organisers emphasised that exhibitor and partner feedback played a central role in shaping the new schedule. Strategic partners including Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, IHG, Al Rais Travel and Dubai World Trade Centre supported the adjustment process. The collaboration underscores ATM’s positioning as a key meeting point for airlines, hospitality groups, technology providers and destination representatives seeking long-term partnerships.
