Dubai unveils New Year's Eve plan

Dubai will welcome New Year 2026 with 48 fireworks displays across 40 locations across the emirate, including iconic landmarks such as Burj Khalifa, Palm Jumeirah, Downtown Dubai, Dubai Festival City, and Burj Al Arab.

The official map, released by Dubai Police Headquarters, guides residents and visitors to enjoy the celebrations safely under the supervision of SIRA.

To ensure smooth mobility and public safety, the RTA will operate non-stop Metro services for 43 hours and manage staged road closures. Authorities have urged the public to use public transport and follow safety guidelines.

A massive security and medical operation will support the festivities, with over 23,000 security personnel, 1,900 medical staff, 236 ambulances, and 12 hospitals and outdoor clinics on standby. The Civil Defence will deploy personnel and vehicles to respond to emergencies.

This marks the most comprehensive New Year’s Eve operation in Dubai’s history, offering multiple safe viewing options at hotels, resorts, leisure destinations, and tourist hubs across the city, promising residents and visitors a spectacular start to 2026.
