Emirates Skywards members can now redeem Miles for 12,000 European rail destinations
New booking platform offers flexible Cash + Miles payments
DUBAI – Emirates Skywards has expanded its loyalty programme by introducing a new way for members to travel across Europe, allowing them to redeem Skywards Miles for train journeys covering more than 12,000 destinations.
The newly launched Skywards Rail platform gives members access to an extensive rail network spanning 12 European countries and more than 40 major operators.
The move broadens redemption options beyond flights, enabling travellers to create seamless journeys using their accumulated Miles.

The dedicated booking platform, available at www.skywardsrail.com, allows members to search rail schedules, compare ticket types and cabin classes, and complete bookings online or through mobile devices. The service is offered in five different languages to cater to Emirates Skywards' global customer base.
Members can pay entirely with Skywards Miles or choose a Cash + Miles combination when booking tickets. Rail journeys can also be redeemed for family members and friends, while electronic tickets are delivered directly via email after purchase.
The new platform provides access to domestic, international and high-speed rail services operated by some of Europe's best-known railway companies. These include Eurostar, Deutsche Bahn, SNCF, Trenitalia, TGV, Renfe and ÖBB, alongside major rail services across the United Kingdom such as Heathrow Express, Gatwick Express, Thameslink, Great Western Railway and ScotRail.
Dr Nejib Ben Khedher, Divisional Senior Vice President of Emirates Skywards, said the programme reflects growing demand from members seeking greater flexibility in how they redeem their Miles.

Popular routes
The programme includes redemption opportunities on some of Europe's busiest rail corridors. Members can book Heathrow Express services from 4,700 Skywards Miles, while journeys between Berlin and Frankfurt start from 4,100 Miles.
Travellers heading to Spain can redeem Miles for trips between Barcelona and Madrid from 5,400 Skywards Miles. In Italy, journeys between Rome and Milan begin from 8,100 Miles, while international travellers can book the popular London to Paris route from 9,400 Skywards Miles.
By integrating rail travel into its rewards programme, Emirates Skywards aims to make onward travel across Europe easier for passengers arriving on Emirates or flydubai flights, while also offering members more ways to maximise the value of their loyalty rewards.

Since its launch in 2000, Emirates Skywards has expanded rapidly into one of the world's leading loyalty programmes. Earlier this year, the programme marked its 25th anniversary and now serves more than 39 million members across 190 countries.
