UAE-Caribbean travel: Emirates launches new interline partnership to boost Bahamas connectivity
Single-ticket journeys now available via Miami and Orlando gateways
DUBAI – Dubai-based airline Emirates has activated a new interline partnership with Bahamasair, enhancing travel options for customers heading to The Bahamas.
The agreement enables seamless connections from the airline’s global network to Nassau, Paradise Island and Freeport via two Florida gateways. It follows a Memorandum of Understanding signed between the carriers in June, formalising plans to widen access across the Caribbean.

Under the unilateral partnership, passengers can book a single-ticket itinerary to Miami or Orlando and continue to their final island destination with a unified baggage policy.
Emirates currently operates daily flights to Miami using its retrofitted Boeing 777 with four cabin classes, alongside five weekly services to Orlando on a three-class Boeing 777.
From both cities, travellers can connect to Bahamasair’s Boeing 737 services to two major points in The Bahamas.
New interline deal
Emirates’ agreement with Bahamasair comes after it signed an MoU earlier this year with The Bahamas’ Ministry of Foreign Affairs to jointly promote tourism.
The interline deal further strengthens access to one of the region’s most visited island destinations, offering greater choice for customers travelling from across the airline’s international network.
