UAE-Thailand travel: Air Arabia adds fourth daily Bangkok flight from Sharjah
New frequency takes weekly services between the two cities to 28
SHARJAH – Air Arabia is expanding its Thailand network with a fourth daily non-stop flight between Sharjah and Bangkok.
The new service will begin on October 25, 2026, giving passengers more options for direct travel between the UAE and Thailand.
The additional frequency will take the airline’s Bangkok schedule to 28 non-stop flights each week.
Expanded schedule
The new Bangkok frequency adds to Air Arabia’s existing 21 non-stop weekly flights between Sharjah and Phuket, bringing its combined services to Thailand to 49 flights per week.
The airline said the expansion strengthens Sharjah’s connectivity with two of Thailand’s key destinations and responds to demand for affordable and convenient travel between the UAE and Southeast Asia.
Adel Al Ali, Group Chief Executive Officer of Air Arabia, said the increased Bangkok operation reflects the importance of Thailand within the carrier’s network. He added that four daily flights to Bangkok, alongside the existing Phuket services, would provide passengers with greater flexibility while strengthening Sharjah’s links with the country.
More travel options
Passengers travelling from the UAE will be able to plan direct journeys to Bangkok with greater flexibility following the schedule expansion.
Air Arabia said customers can book flights between Sharjah and Bangkok through its website, call centre and travel agencies.
The airline operates Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft across its network and offers onboard services including SkyTime, its complimentary in-flight streaming service, and SkyCafe. Its Air Rewards programme provides passengers with a loyalty scheme for earning and redeeming rewards.
