Over 100 global universities gather for 21st International Education Show in Sharjah
Event to showcase smart learning solutions and new academic pathways
SHARJAH – The 21st edition of the International Education Show opens tomorrow, Wednesday, at Expo Centre Sharjah and will continue until October 11.
Organised by Expo Centre Sharjah with the support of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), this year’s event brings together more than 100 leading universities and academic institutions from over 16 countries.
The exhibition is being held in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MOHESR), the Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA), and India’s Ministry of Education.
Diverse academic offerings
The four-day exhibition provides students and parents with an opportunity to explore a wide range of academic programmes, from undergraduate to postgraduate levels.

Participants include top institutions from the United Kingdom, Spain, Germany, Hungary, the United States, Georgia, Malaysia, and India, alongside the UAE’s own universities. Among the prominent local participants are the Higher Colleges of Technology, United Arab Emirates University (UAEU), Khalifa University, Zayed University, the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IITD) – Abu Dhabi, the American University of Sharjah (AUS), the American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK), and the University of Sharjah.
Innovation and learning
This year’s edition is expected to draw more than 25,000 visitors, underscoring the event’s growing reputation as a regional hub for academic excellence. Covering key disciplines such as medicine, engineering, business administration, and emerging technologies, the exhibition enables students to connect directly with university representatives, discuss scholarship opportunities, and understand admission requirements.
Reflecting the increasing integration of technology into education, the 2025 show spotlights smart learning innovations and the latest EdTech solutions. It also highlights the expanding role of digital tools and interactive platforms in shaping future-ready educational models.
Student engagement
The International Education Show serves as a vital meeting point for students seeking international academic experiences and institutions eager to engage with aspiring learners. Female students will be welcomed on Wednesday from 08:00 to 14:00, and male students on Thursday during the same hours.
The exhibition opens to students and families on Friday and Saturday from 15:00 to 21:00, offering a dynamic environment to explore educational and professional opportunities.
