New superclub to redefine women’s fitness in Abu Dhabi
FitnGlam will introduce exclusive Megaformer studio offering a high-intensity, low-impact workout
ABU DHABI – FitnGlam, part of Formative, the UAE’s largest fitness collective, is set to strengthen its presence in the capital with the launch of a new women-only superclub at My City Center Masdar in Abu Dhabi.
Scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2026, the 22,000 sq ft facility will become the brand’s third location in Abu Dhabi and its seventh across the UAE.
The expansion reflects Formative’s wider strategy to grow its premium fitness network while delivering specialised wellbeing experiences for women in one of the emirate’s fastest-growing communities.
Premium destination
Designed exclusively for women, FitnGlam Masdar will combine state-of-the-art training spaces, boutique fitness studios, recovery facilities and luxury amenities within a single destination dedicated to health, fitness and wellbeing.

The new club will also introduce several firsts for the brand. It will house FitnGlam’s first dedicated Megaformer studio, offering a high-intensity, low-impact workout designed to improve strength, endurance and control. The facility will also feature boutique fitness concepts powered by Platform, including Reformer Pilates, Ride and MindBody studios, alongside a dedicated Energy studio, creating one of the most comprehensive fitness offerings available to women in Abu Dhabi.
David Prosser, CEO of Formative, said FitnGlam had established itself as the UAE’s leading fitness brand for women and that the Masdar facility represented the next stage in the brand’s evolution.
He said the new club would bring together world-class fitness and wellness experiences within a thriving community built by women, for women, while reinforcing the company’s commitment to helping members achieve their health and wellbeing goals.
Training focus
When it opens, the club will include dedicated strength, cardio, functional and glutes training zones equipped with premium fitness technology. Members will also have access to expert personal trainers and tailored coaching programmes designed to support every stage of their fitness journey.

Specialised performance spaces will cater to strength and conditioning programmes as well as HYROX-style training, broadening the club’s appeal to women seeking both everyday fitness and competitive-style workouts.
Growth plans
Beyond fitness, the superclub will offer a range of wellness and recovery facilities, including an infrared salt sauna, steam room and dedicated recovery spaces. Members will also benefit from a healthy café, luxury changing rooms and a year-round calendar of educational workshops, community events and wellbeing experiences.

FitnGlam operates under Formative, the UAE’s largest fitness collective, launched by Arada in November 2025. The platform brings together Wellfit, FitnGlam, FITCODE and Platform Studios, creating an integrated ecosystem of fitness clubs, boutique studios and wellness experiences.
Formative currently serves around 40,000 members across more than 20 clubs nationwide and has set a target of expanding to 100,000 members across 40 locations by 2027, with the Masdar superclub forming part of that long-term growth strategy.
