Etihad Guest rolls out full seat flexibility and unveils Saver Award
Tier Miles and UAE chauffeur perks expand for eligible award bookings
ABU DHABI – Etihad Guest, the loyalty programme of Etihad Airways, has introduced sweeping enhancements that allow every seat on every flight to be booked using miles with multiple flexibility options
The national airline of UAE has also rebranded its longstanding GuestSeat awards as the new Saver Award, offering lower starting rates for redemption travel. The updates are designed to increase clarity, value, and choice for members while mirroring the structure of the airline’s commercial fares.
Saver Award
The Saver Award continues to be available exclusively to Etihad Guest members and provides access to every seat at fixed mileage levels. Etihad confirmed that the refreshed naming reflects a more intuitive way for travellers to understand the value of the product and engage with the programme’s redemption features.
The Saver Award is valid across Etihad’s expanding global network as well as more than 26 partner airlines, forming the largest partnership platform of any non-allied carrier. This includes soon-to-launch redemptions with Hong Kong Airlines, following the recent signing between the airlines that coincided with Etihad’s new route from Hong Kong to Abu Dhabi.
Added flexibility
In line with commercial fare structures, Etihad Guest members can now select award tickets with attributes such as full refundability. The programme has also expanded its earning opportunities, enabling members to collect Tier Miles on redemption bookings for Comfort and Deluxe fares. Earnings range from 25 per cent to 50 per cent across all cabins, offering faster progress through Etihad Guest’s tier levels.
Member benefits
Business Comfort and Business Deluxe award bookings now include complimentary Etihad Chauffeur services anywhere within the UAE, regardless of a member’s tier standing. At the same time, UAE-issued co-brand credit card vouchers are now redeemable across all fare brands, increasing the flexibility and value available to residents.
