India’s comedy favourite Sunil Grover announces Dubai show at Coca-Cola Arena
Hindi-language show promises laughter, impersonations and audience interaction
DUBAI – Fans of Indian comedy will have a chance to see one of the country's most recognisable entertainers live in Dubai next month, as Sunil Grover heads to Coca-Cola Arena for a one-night performance.
The comedian and actor is scheduled to perform on Friday, August 21, in a Hindi-language show featuring his trademark characters, impersonations and audience interaction. Organisers say the evening will be packed with humour and live entertainment that has made Grover a household name across India and among audiences worldwide.
Presented by Midas Events and Eva Live Middle East, in partnership with Milestone Entertainment and Heart and Soul Productions, Sunil Grover Live will begin at 8pm, with doors opening at 6.30pm.
Who is Sunil Grover?
Grover has built a career spanning nearly three decades across television, films and live stage performances. He is best known for creating memorable comic characters including Gutthi, Dr Mashoor Gulati and Rinku Bhabhi, all of which became hugely popular with television audiences.
His performances blend observational humour, improvisation and spontaneous exchanges with the audience, while his ability to transform into different personalities has become one of his defining trademarks.
Beyond his original characters, Grover is also known for impersonating some of India's biggest celebrities, including Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan and Gulzar. Organisers say Dubai audiences can expect a combination of character performances, stand-up comedy and live interactions throughout the evening.

The performance will take place at Coca-Cola Arena on Friday, August 21. Entry gates will open at 6.30pm before the show begins at 8pm.
The event will be performed entirely in Hindi. Organisers have confirmed that children above 24 months will require a valid ticket for entry, while anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian aged 18 or above.
E-tickets will be issued five days before the event, while visitors can also choose instalment payments through Tabby when purchasing tickets.
