DUBAI – Dubai South has announced a fresh package of incentives aimed at companies operating within its Free Zone, reinforcing efforts to maintain economic momentum and strengthen business confidence across its ecosystem.

The measures come as part of wider initiatives aligned with the Dubai Free Zones Council, which is focused on enhancing competitiveness and resilience across Dubai’s network of free zones.

The latest announcement is designed to streamline operations for businesses and reduce administrative pressures.

Business setup

The incentive package includes targeted support for new company formation within Dubai South Free Zone, offering smoother onboarding processes for incoming businesses. The initiative is intended to reduce procedural delays and encourage greater participation from regional and international investors.

Dubai South continues to position itself as a strategic business hub, supported by integrated infrastructure and connectivity advantages that appeal to companies seeking long-term operational stability. The streamlined setup measures are designed to make entry into the ecosystem more efficient, particularly for SMEs and emerging enterprises looking to establish a base in Dubai.

Renewal support

A key component of the initiative focuses on facilitating licence renewals for existing companies operating in the Free Zone. This includes improved administrative assistance aimed at simplifying renewal procedures and ensuring continuity of operations without unnecessary disruption. The move is part of broader efforts to support business retention and reduce operational friction for companies already established within the ecosystem. By easing renewal requirements, Dubai South is reinforcing its commitment to maintaining a stable and predictable business environment that supports long-term planning and growth.

Fee relief

The incentives also include an exemption from late renewal fines, providing financial relief for companies that may face delays in completing administrative processes. This measure is expected to ease cost pressures and support business continuity, particularly for smaller firms managing operational constraints.

According to Dubai South, the initiative builds on previous support measures introduced for SMEs at the Business Park, further strengthening its ecosystem-wide approach to business facilitation. Group CEO Nabil Al Kindi stated that the initiative aligns with ongoing efforts under the ‘Dubai South in Motion’ framework, which focuses on sustaining business momentum and reinforcing investor confidence.
