R&B icon Akon set to perform 75 floors above Dubai
Tickets start from Dhs250 with food, drinks and club entry
DUBAI – Get ready to relive the golden era of R&B as five-time Grammy-nominated superstar Akon brings his chart-topping hits to Dubai.
The Senegalese-American singer behind global favourites like Smack That, Mr Lonely and Beautiful will perform for one night only on Sunday, November 2, at Privilege, SLS Dubai, located 75 floors above the city skyline in Business Bay.
The performance marks Akon’s highly anticipated return to Dubai’s vibrant nightlife scene, where fans will be treated to an unforgettable night of music, energy, and nostalgia at one of the city’s most iconic rooftop venues.
Before the show
The celebrations kick off early with a pre-party on Privilege’s Burj Khalifa Terrace from 8pm. Guests can enjoy an open bar, live grill stations, and pass-around canapés, all set against panoramic views of Downtown Dubai. Terrace access is priced at Dhs250 per person, including two select beverages, food, and club entry for pre-purchased ticket holders. Those seeking a more luxurious experience can reserve VIP terrace tables with champagne service.
When will Akon take the stage?
From 11pm, the Privilege Club comes alive with beats from DJ Ona and DJ Slim, building up to Akon’s headline performance. Expect his biggest hits and high-octane stage presence to take over the night. To close the show, DJ TMak will keep the dance floor moving well into the early hours of Monday morning.
