UAE-Canada travel: Emirates to launch A350 with Premium Economy on Dubai-Montréal route
Codeshare partnership expands access to North American destinations
DUBAI – Emirates is set to introduce its Airbus A350 aircraft to Canada for the first time, deploying it on the Montréal-Dubai route from 1st February 2026.
The aircraft will replace the existing Boeing 777 on the daily service, bringing the airline’s newest cabin class, Premium Economy, to Canada.
The move highlights Emirates’ commitment to elevating travel experiences and expanding options for Canadian customers.
New cabin offering
The A350 features modern interiors and innovative aviation technology, offering three cabin classes with refreshed seating. Customers will be able to enjoy 32 Business Class seats in a 1-2-1 layout, 28 Premium Economy seats with generous legroom, and 238 Economy Class seats.
The deployment marks the first time Canadian passengers can experience Emirates’ Premium Economy, designed to provide added comfort and spaciousness.
Daily flight schedule
The A350 will operate daily on routes EK243 and EK244. EK243 will depart Dubai at 02:45, landing in Montréal at 07:35. The return flight, EK244, will depart Montréal at 10:40, arriving in Dubai at 08:00 the following day.
Emirates also continues to operate its flagship A380 on daily services to Toronto, enabling customers to enjoy wide-body comfort across both Canadian gateways.
Wider connectivity
Through its codeshare agreement with Air Canada, Emirates travellers can access 37 additional destinations across Canada and the United States via Montréal and Toronto. Across all flights, passengers can expect regional dining options, premium onboard service, and access to Emirates’ award-winning inflight entertainment system, featuring 6,500 channels in multiple languages.
