Emirates launches Dubai-Bangkok Premium Economy service on new A380
Passengers enjoy wider seats, fine dining and greater comfort options
DUBAI – Emirates has introduced its award-winning Premium Economy cabin on flights EK376 and EK377 between Dubai and Bangkok, operated by its newly retrofitted A380 aircraft.
The upgrade reinforces the airline’s commitment to enhancing passenger experiences on one of its busiest regional routes.
With this addition, Emirates now offers its Premium Economy service to more than 70 cities worldwide.
What’s inside the cabin?
The Premium Economy section, located at the front of the main deck, features 56 seats in a 2-4-2 layout. Each seat offers a 40-inch pitch, 8-inch recline, adjustable headrests and footrests, upholstered in anti-stain cream leather.
Passengers can enjoy dining on Royal Doulton china with regionally inspired cuisine and an expanded beverage menu featuring premium wines.
How is entertainment enhanced?
Each seat includes a 13.3-inch HD screen, Bluetooth pairing, and multiple charging options for personal devices. Travellers can explore thousands of channels on Emirates’ award-winning in-flight entertainment system, ICE.
Where does it connect?
Passengers flying from Bangkok can connect through Dubai to popular destinations including New York, London and Lyon, enjoying the same Premium Economy experience end-to-end. The launch forms part of Emirates’ extensive aircraft retrofit programme, one of the largest in the industry, with 219 A380s and Boeing 777s scheduled for complete refurbishments.
By the end of 2025, Emirates expects to offer nearly 2 million Premium Economy seats across its network, doubling to 4 million by 2026. Travellers can book through the official website, the Emirates App, Emirates World in Bangkok, or authorised travel agents.
