Fuel Price Committee revises retail prices in line with global trends
DUBAI – The UAE Fuel Price Committee has announced the revised retail fuel prices for November 2025, bringing a slight relief to motorists as petrol and diesel rates see a modest decline from October levels.
The new rates, aligned with international market trends, will take effect across all Emirates from November 1.

Under the latest update, Super 98 petrol will cost Dh2.63 per litre, down from Dh2.77 in October. Special 95 petrol has been set at Dh2.51 per litre, compared to Dh2.66 last month, while E-Plus 91 petrol will now retail at Dh2.44 per litre, down from Dh2.58.
Diesel, meanwhile, will be priced at Dh2.67 per litre, showing a slight decrease from Dh2.71 in October.
How prices are set
The UAE’s Fuel Price Committee revises rates at the end of each month to align domestic retail fuel prices with global oil trends. The system, which was introduced in 2015, ended government subsidies and linked local fuel prices to international market movements.
This deregulation ensures that retail fuel costs in the UAE reflect real-time shifts in global oil supply and demand, keeping the local market transparent and competitive.
What it means for motorists
The November reduction marks a pause after several months of fluctuating rates influenced by global oil market dynamics. While petrol prices had climbed in October compared to September, the new update brings moderate relief ahead of the year-end period.
Motorists across the country will now pay lower prices at the pump, with reductions ranging between 4 to 14 fils per litre across fuel categories. The change is expected to slightly ease transport and logistics costs in the short term.
