Built around three core pillars, Impact, Sustainability and Inspiration, the Award is intended to transform every annual UAE Year Of theme into an enduring national legacy. It recognises initiatives and personal stories that have produced measurable results while highlighting examples that encourage wider community participation and reinforce a culture of contribution.
Five categories
The programme also establishes a permanent national framework through a unified evaluation process and an annual recognition ceremony to be held during the UAE Government Annual Meetings.
Five award categories have been introduced to reflect the diverse ways individuals and organisations contribute to national priorities. These include the Main Award, Collective Contribution, Government Champion, Private Sector Champion and Civil Sector Champion, recognising initiatives that support the annual themes of the UAE Year Of initiative.
The inaugural edition is being delivered in collaboration with the Ministry of Family, reflecting the ministry's role in advancing the objectives of this year's national theme.
The UAE Year Of initiative serves as a nationwide storytelling platform that brings together everyone who calls the UAE home around shared priorities. It unites government entities, private sector organisations and the wider community behind common national goals, encouraging collective action aligned with the country's annual strategic directions. Families and organisations can submit applications through the official UAE Year Of website until the September 10 deadline.
