UAE-Pakistan travel: AirSial launches Abu Dhabi-Lahore route with four weekly flights
Airline celebrates launch with ceremony at Allama Iqbal International Airport
DUBAI/LAHORE – Pakistan’s private carrier AirSial has officially commenced flight operations from Lahore to Abu Dhabi, marking another significant expansion in the airline’s international network.
Beginning today, four weekly flights will depart from Allama Iqbal International Airport, offering travellers enhanced connectivity to the UAE capital. The decision to launch flights on this route follows growing demand for regional travel and AirSial’s ongoing international development.
AirSial – Lahore to Dubai
Ahead of the inaugural departure from Lahore, a ceremonial cake-cutting event was held at Allama Iqbal International Airport. AirSial Vice Chairman Qaiser Bilal led the celebrations and presented flowers to departing passengers, adding a festive touch to the launch.
The airline confirmed that bookings have opened, with all preparations finalised for smooth operations.
Regional expansion
AirSial operates a fleet of Airbus A320 aircraft and continues to widen its footprint across the Gulf.
Its first flight between Islamabad and Dubai –Flight PF784 – carrying 137 passengers under the oversight of the Pakistan Airports Authority began in June this year. The Dubai flight launched AirSial’s international journey with ceremonies held both in Islamabad and at Dubai International Airport.
Established in 2015 by the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce & Industry, AirSial began operations in 2020 to improve Pakistan’s regional connectivity. Since then, it has rapidly developed routes to Saudi Arabia, Oman and now the UAE, including Jeddah, Riyadh, Madinah, Dammam, Muscat and Dubai.
