Revised schedule linked to standardised Friday prayer timing decision
ABU DHABI – The Pakistan Embassy in the United Arab Emirates has announced a change to its Friday working hours, effective from January 2026.
The revision follows the UAE’s decision to standardise Friday prayer time across the country. The updated schedule applies specifically to consular services provided by the embassy.
The embassy serves as a key point of contact for Pakistanis living in the UAE, handling a broad range of official and administrative matters. These include passport renewals, consular assistance, visa facilitation, Nadra services and document attestation, alongside support on legal, labour and repatriation issues.
Revised timings
According to an official notice shared on the embassy’s social media platforms, Friday working hours have been adjusted to align with the standardised prayer time of 12:45 pm. As a result, the embassy will now operate on Fridays from 8:00am to 11:45am.

The statement clarified that the revised schedule applies to all consular services, including passport processing, Nadra-related matters and attestation services. Visitors are advised to plan their appointments and visits within the updated timeframe.
Consular services
The Pakistan Embassy in the UAE provides essential services to thousands of overseas Pakistanis across the country. Beyond routine documentation, the embassy offers guidance on national identity cards, immigration matters and visa-related issues, ensuring continuity of official services for the community.
