Jazeera Airways brings Budapest back with new summer flights from Kuwait
Flights begin mid-July with convenient booking across multiple platforms
DUBAI – Jazeera Airways has announced the relaunch of its direct Kuwait–Budapest route, marking a renewed push into Central Europe for the summer travel season.
The announcement was made on the sidelines of the UEFA Champions League final in Budapest, held at the Puskás Stadium.
The service, operated by Jazeera Airways, will resume flights to Budapest from 16 July 2026. Travellers will have access to three weekly flights, with bookings now available via the airline’s website, mobile application, and call centre.

The relaunch strengthens Jazeera Airways’ expanding European footprint, positioning Budapest alongside Milan Bergamo and London Luton within its summer schedule.
The addition reflects the airline’s continued strategy to enhance affordable and direct connectivity between Kuwait and key leisure and business destinations across Europe. With more than 2 million seats and over 60 destinations available this summer, the carrier is reinforcing its role in providing accessible travel options across its growing network.
The renewed Budapest service is expected to support increased demand during the peak holiday period, particularly among travellers seeking cultural and city-break experiences.

Often referred to as the “Pearl of the Danube,” Budapest is known for its historic architecture, thermal baths, and vibrant riverside atmosphere.
Speaking from Budapest ahead of the UEFA Champions League final, Chief Executive Officer Barathan Pasupathi said, “We are pleased to bring Budapest back to our network, giving our customers even more choice when planning their summer travels.” He added that the city’s blend of history, culture, and vibrant urban life continues to make it a popular destination.
