These expertly guided workouts combine functional movement, endurance building, and skill-based drills to help participants fine-tune their fitness in a high-energy, community-oriented setting. Each session targets HYROX-specific components – from sled pushes to wall balls – ensuring athletes are fully equipped for race day.
No membership needed
Unlike many exclusive fitness offerings, this programme invites both seasoned competitors and first-timers to join with ease. All it takes is purchasing a class pack and booking through OneFit’s platform. This flexible format supports both structured training and accessible participation – key to growing Dubai’s vibrant HYROX community. With the ADNEC race drawing nearer, the timing couldn’t be more strategic.
Race format breakdown
The Abu Dhabi edition of HYROX is part of the Abu Dhabi Summer Sports (ADSS) and will take place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre. Participants will face a gruelling yet thrilling format: eight 1-kilometre runs interspersed with challenging stations including rowing, burpee broad jumps, and functional sled work. Timed for performance, the format fosters both individual competition and group camaraderie.
Inclusive divisions
HYROX Abu Dhabi will feature a diverse range of entry categories, ensuring broad appeal. Competitors can race solo in male and female divisions, partner up in doubles (mixed, male or female), or form relay teams of four. A dedicated Pro division caters to elite athletes, while the Adaptive division makes room for competitors with physical disabilities – reinforcing HYROX’s inclusive ethos.
HYROX 2025
The July 19 race is anticipated to attract participants from across the globe and marks another milestone in HYROX’s expansion into the Middle East. Backed by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, the event is set to become a headline act in the UAE’s 2025 sporting calendar – and OneFit Dubai’s initiative is primed to be a game-changing contribution.
