#AlifChallenge – Dubai launches Dh100,000 challenge for content creators
Participants must register, film, and post entries before October 5 deadline
DUBAI – Content creators across the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have a chance to win a three-month contract worth Dh100,000 through the newly unveiled #AlifChallenge.
The competition, launched by Alif pavilion at Expo City Dubai, invites digital storytellers to showcase their creativity in short video form.
The winner will also take the title of Alif’s first Chief Content Creator, producing four original videos per month as part of the contract.

Alif Challenge
The challenge tasks entrants with creating a video between 15 and 60 seconds, capturing the futuristic experience inside Alif. The pavilion features scenes ranging from ancient desert caravans to Mars missions, along with spectacular giants designed by Weta Workshop, the creative team behind The Lord of the Rings.

The winning content creator will receive exclusive access to Alif and act as its digital voice for three months. The role includes producing original video content that brings the pavilion’s storytelling to global audiences, with the organisers emphasising that the competition is about “curating culture” rather than chasing viral trends.
How to enter?
To participate, creators must register online to receive a free Alif pass, visit the pavilion to film their entry between September 1 and October 5, and post the video with the hashtags #AlifChallenge and #AlifCCC, tagging @visitalif.ae. The entry must then be submitted via an official form.
When is the winner revealed?
Entries will be judged on creativity, originality, engagement, and inspiration.

The winner will be announced on October 12 at the Alif Galactic Adventures Festival, held during International Space Week at Expo City Dubai.
