ABU DHABI: Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, Pakistan’s envoy to the United Arab Emirates, met with Dr Abdulrahman Bin Abdulmanan Al Awar, UAE Minister of Human Resources and Emiratization and Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in Abu Dhabi.

The meeting focused on ongoing bilateral cooperation and explored new avenues in higher education and human resource development.

Discussions emphasised joint initiatives to support students, academic institutions, and professionals from both nations.

Support for expatriates

Ambassador Tirmizi acknowledged the role of the Pakistani community in the UAE’s development and thanked the Emirati leadership for its inclusive policies.

He reaffirmed Pakistan’s intention to strengthen institutional ties and promote skill development and workforce readiness.

Shared vision

Dr Al Awar praised the enduring and brotherly relations between Pakistan and the UAE.

He expressed the UAE’s interest in expanding cooperation with Pakistan in areas of mutual benefit and welcomed continued coordination between respective institutions.
