Rixos Al Mairid Ras Al Khaimah launches major room renovation with summer 2026 offers
Villa stays remain available throughout refurbishment period
RAS AL KHAIMAH – Rixos Al Mairid Ras Al Khaimah has announced the start of a comprehensive renovation programme for its main hotel building, marking a significant step in the resort’s long-term development strategy and its commitment to enhancing guest experiences.
The large-scale transformation will see guest rooms and suites within the main building temporarily taken out of service while extensive refurbishment works are carried out. Despite the renovation, the resort will continue operations through its collection of private villas, allowing visitors to enjoy a more exclusive beachfront retreat along Ras Al Khaimah’s coastline.
Scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter of 2026, the project will introduce a refreshed design concept and upgraded accommodation offering tailored to the expectations of modern travellers, while preserving the distinctive hospitality and vibrant atmosphere associated with the Rixos brand.
New chapter
Announcing the development, Sherif Kasseb, General Manager of Rixos Al Mairid Ras Al Khaimah, described the investment as an important milestone in the property’s evolution.
He said the resort’s focus has always been on continuously elevating the guest experience, adding that the transformation represents an exciting new chapter for the destination. While guests continue to enjoy the privacy and tranquillity of the villa collection, the renovation is expected to strengthen the resort’s position among the region’s leading leisure destinations.
Throughout the refurbishment period, villa guests will retain access to a range of facilities and services, including beachfront experiences, dining venues, recreational activities and the signature hospitality for which the brand is known.
Summer escapes
Alongside the renovation announcement, the resort has introduced a selection of summer villa experiences aimed at both residents and visitors seeking a coastal getaway.
Guests can choose from bed and breakfast or all-inclusive villa stays, combining the privacy of spacious accommodation with access to dining experiences, leisure facilities and family-friendly activities. The summer villa stay package starts from Dh475 per room, per night, subject to terms and conditions.
For travellers looking for a shorter break, the resort has also launched a Villa Daycation All-Inclusive experience. Designed for families, couples and groups of friends, the package includes the use of a private villa room during the day, providing a comfortable base from which to enjoy the beachfront setting and leisure facilities.
The Villa Daycation package is priced from Dh549 per couple, subject to applicable terms and conditions.
Resort offering
The renovation comes as Rixos Al Mairid Ras Al Khaimah continues to build on its position as one of the emirate’s prominent beachfront resorts. Located on the shores of Al Mairid, the property offers an ultra all-inclusive experience and features 466 rooms, alongside the longest private beachfront in Ras Al Khaimah, stretching 1.5 kilometres of white sand.
Guests can choose from ten dining venues serving a variety of international cuisines, while seven swimming pools, the Rixy Kids Club and a dedicated Teens Club cater to families and younger visitors. The resort also offers an extensive programme of daily activities, wellness experiences and live entertainment throughout the year.
Its Naturelife Spa remains a key attraction during the summer season, with guests currently able to benefit from a 15 per cent discount on spa treatments. The wellness facility offers a range of restorative therapies and signature treatments designed to complement a relaxing seaside escape.
Architecturally, the resort blends Andalusian, Arabian and Turkish influences, creating a distinctive identity that has become one of its defining features.
