Dubai gold jumps Dh7.75 per gram as global prices hit one-week high
Silver and platinum outperform at one-week highs
DUBAI – Dubai gold rates moved higher on Tuesday, reflecting firm global bullion prices and steady retail demand.
According to Dubai Jewellery Group data, all major purities recorded gains, with 24K showing the sharpest increase on the day. The rise follows a strong start to the week for international gold markets, where prices pushed to a one-week high.

On Tuesday, the suggested retail price for 24K gold stood at Dh538.25 per gram, up from Dh530.50 on Monday, marking an increase of Dh7.75. The 22K rate rose to Dh498.25 per gram from Dh491.25, while 21K advanced to Dh477.75 compared with Dh471.00 a day earlier.
Lower purities also tracked higher, with 18K priced at Dh409.50 per gram, up from Dh403.75, and 14K reaching Dh319.50, compared with Dh315.00 on Monday. The across-the-board gains underline a broadly positive tone in the bullion market at the start of the week.
Global gold markets
Internationally, spot gold climbed to a one-week high, rising 0.4% to $4,463.63 per ounce by early Tuesday, after nearly a 3% jump in the previous session. US gold futures for February delivery were also higher at $4,473.90.
Bullion remains near record territory after touching $4,549.71 in late December and posting a 64% annual gain last year, its strongest performance since 1979.
Markets have been reacting to expectations of at least two US interest rate cuts this year, with investors closely watching the upcoming nonfarm payroll data for further signals.
Other precious metals
Other precious metals posted stronger percentage gains. Spot silver rose 2.8% to $78.64 per ounce, following an all-time high of $83.62 late last month, after ending 2025 with a 147% annual surge.
Platinum advanced 2% to $2,315.69 per ounce, having recently touched a record $2,478.50, while palladium traded 2.2% higher at $1,745.68 per ounce.
