Pakistan Association Dubai revives 1947 Lahore in theatrical night
‘Lahore Lahore Hai’ set for Sunday performance
DUBAI – Pakistan Association Dubai (PAD) will stage Lahore Lahore Hai this Sunday at the Pakistan Auditorium, PAD, presenting a theatrical journey into post-partition Lahore.
The production will recreate the cultural vibrancy and resilience of the city in 1947.
The event is being organised in support of Pakistan Medical Centre (PMC), a not-for-profit healthcare facility in the GCC dedicated to serving all nationalities.
Stage story
The play will transport audiences back to 1947 Lahore, capturing the atmosphere of a city shaped by partition and renewal. Through performances, set design and storytelling, it highlights cultural richness and human resilience. It aims to immerse viewers in a historically reflective narrative that brings Lahore’s heritage vividly to life on stage.
Charity cause
Proceeds will support PMC’s patient care services and help sustain affordable healthcare access. PMC has treated over 190,000 patients, served more than 126 nationalities, and provided free healthcare to over 75 percent of patients. Doors open at 7:00 pm and show starts at 8:00 pm. Tickets are priced at Dh 250 (Platinum), Dh 100 (Gold) and Dh 75 (Standard), with group booking discounts available.
