UAE tourism ministry shares major update on hotels, attractions and shopping centres
Families continue visiting cultural sites and theme parks during school holidays
ABU DHABI – The UAE’s tourism sector continues to operate normally as hotels, attractions and shopping centres across the country welcome visitors while maintaining approved regulatory standards, according to the Ministry of Economy and Tourism.
In a statement issued on Friday, the ministry said that despite ongoing regional developments, tourism operations across the UAE remain stable and continue to follow directives issued by relevant authorities. Officials emphasised that operational conditions are being monitored closely to ensure services are delivered smoothly and visitors continue to enjoy safe and comfortable experiences.
The ministry also highlighted that accommodation facilities, cultural landmarks and entertainment destinations are operating within established regulatory frameworks, with strict adherence to safety, quality and operational standards across the sector.
UAE tourism operations
According to the Ministry, hotels, resorts, tourist landmarks and shopping centres throughout the UAE are continuing to welcome guests and provide services in line with approved guidelines.
Tourism facilities, hotels, and cultural and entertainment attractions are operating in accordance with approved regulations and the highest safety and quality standards.

Officials confirmed that authorities are maintaining close and continuous monitoring of developments affecting the tourism sector. Operational conditions and hotel occupancy levels are reviewed daily to ensure that services remain uninterrupted and that any potential challenges are addressed quickly and efficiently.
The ministry noted that the tourism ecosystem in the country functions through coordinated efforts between public authorities and private sector partners. Through this coordination, tourism establishments are able to maintain service standards while adapting to evolving circumstances in the region.
Visitors were also advised to communicate directly with accommodation establishments or tourism service providers to obtain the most up-to-date information regarding bookings, travel arrangements and programme schedules.
Authorities reiterated that the safety and comfort of visitors remain a central priority, with tourism entities across the UAE working closely together to ensure continuity of services and stability within the sector.
Abu Dhabi update
Meanwhile, the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi confirmed that tourism activities across the emirate are continuing as usual.
Hotels, cultural attractions, museums, entertainment venues and tourism experiences throughout Abu Dhabi remain open and continue welcoming visitors while maintaining regular services.
The department stated that it is maintaining continuous coordination with relevant government authorities to ensure that visitors currently in the emirate receive the necessary support. This coordination also extends to tourism partners, employees and members of the local community to ensure a seamless visitor experience.
Officials added that the aim is to sustain the strength of Abu Dhabi’s tourism offering while ensuring operational continuity for the sector’s workforce and businesses.
Yas attractions
Entertainment destinations on Yas Island are also continuing to welcome visitors daily, offering a wide range of family-oriented activities and experiences.
During the ongoing spring season and official school holiday period, the island’s entertainment venues have seen families visiting to enjoy attractions and leisure experiences designed for all age groups.
Major theme parks on the island remain open, including Ferrari World Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi, Warner Bros. World Yas Island, Abu Dhabi and SeaWorld Yas Island Abu Dhabi.
These destinations offer a diverse selection of entertainment experiences, from theme park rides and water attractions to educational exhibits and immersive entertainment programmes.
Tourism authorities noted that families are taking advantage of the school holiday period to visit museums, entertainment parks and cultural attractions across Abu Dhabi. Many of these destinations offer programmes designed to combine recreation with learning, giving visitors opportunities to engage with educational and cultural experiences alongside leisure activities.
