7 changes in Kuwait visa rules you need to know
Kuwait has announced seven major changes to its visa policy to boost tourism and make travel more accessible.
These include scrapping the university degree requirement, extending visit visas to three months with options to renew up to one year, and removing the restriction to fly only with national carriers.
The family visit visa now covers relatives up to the fourth degree, while travellers flagged for security reasons will receive immediate notifications.
The visa fee structure is still under Cabinet review.
These reforms aim to make Kuwait a regional hub for travel and trade.
