DUBAI: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, met with retired senior officers from Dubai Police at Al Mudaif Majlis in Union House on Thursday.

The gathering recognised their crucial role in laying the foundations of security and stability in the emirate.

Sheikh Mohammed expressed deep appreciation for their service, noting that their efforts helped establish a policing model that now serves as a benchmark both regionally and internationally. He emphasised that retired personnel are a vital part of Dubai’s journey and that honouring them is a responsibility history will uphold.

Who attended the meeting?

Among the attendees were Major General Khalil Al Mansouri, Major General Abdul Quddus Abdul Razzaq Al Obaidli, Major General Abdullah Al Ghaithi, Major General Ali Atiq, Major General Ali Ghanem, and Major General Jamal Al Jallaf.

They expressed their gratitude to Sheikh Mohammed, stating that serving the UAE was an honour and that Dubai’s success reflects the leadership’s enduring support.
