Bahi Ajman Palace and Coral Beach Resort Sharjah project 90pc Eid Al Adha occupancy amid staycation boom
Competitive packages and operational readiness support peak holiday demand
SHARJAH – Strong regional demand for festive travel has placed two of the Northern Emirates’ prominent hospitality destinations on track for near-full occupancy during the upcoming Eid Al Adha period.
Bahi Ajman Palace Hotel and Coral Beach Resort Sharjah have projected occupancy levels of up to 90% over the holiday week, driven largely by a surge in domestic staycation bookings. The trend reflects a continued preference among UAE residents for premium local travel experiences during major holiday seasons, supported by competitive packages and curated cultural offerings.
In response to the anticipated influx of guests, both properties have introduced enhanced seasonal programmes aimed at balancing operational efficiency with culturally rooted experiences. Management teams have also strengthened on-ground services to ensure smooth guest flow during one of the busiest travel periods of the year.
Eid packages
The occupancy surge is being fuelled by attractive pricing strategies and diversified leisure offerings across both resorts. Packages for the Eid Al Adha period start from Dh 550 at Coral Beach Resort Sharjah and Dh 600 at Bahi Ajman Palace Hotel. These rates include all taxes, daily breakfast, and a traditional Eid lunch, positioning the properties competitively within the mid-to-upscale staycation segment.

According to hotel management, Eid Al Adha continues to be one of the strongest demand drivers for the Northern Emirates’ hospitality sector. The rising preference for short-haul domestic holidays has reinforced the role of Ajman and Sharjah as accessible coastal destinations for families and groups seeking festive getaways.
Cultural experiences
To enhance guest engagement, both resorts have introduced a wide range of cultural and recreational activities designed around the spirit of Eid. These include traditional Emirati live cooking stations, henna artistry, and heritage-inspired entertainment programmes.
Family-focused offerings form a central part of the holiday experience, with dedicated children’s activities and live performances scheduled throughout the Eid period. In addition, interactive food stations such as Luqaimat counters aim to provide guests with immersive cultural dining experiences that reflect local traditions.
Operational readiness
With occupancy levels approaching 90%, both properties have implemented comprehensive operational planning to manage peak demand. Service teams have been expanded and activity schedules structured to ensure seamless guest experiences despite high occupancy.
Wellness and leisure facilities are also being actively promoted during the holiday period, with incentives on spa treatments and water sports designed to increase ancillary guest engagement. The resorts are positioning themselves as all-in-one destinations offering relaxation, cultural immersion, and family entertainment within a single stay.

Iftikhar Hamdani, Area General Manager for Bahi Ajman Palace Hotel and Coral Beach Resort Sharjah, noted that Eid Al Adha remains a key period for the sector. He highlighted that reaching projected occupancy levels reflects strong guest confidence in the properties’ offerings, adding that tailored experiences have been developed to maintain service quality even at peak capacity.
