Starting April 2025, Dubai’s parking system will undergo significant changes, introducing a new dynamic pricing structure aimed at managing congestion and improving efficiency.
Parkin, the city's official parking operator, has announced revised fees that will vary based on demand, peak hours, and location. In addition, premium parking areas will see higher charges, while event-specific pricing will be introduced to regulate traffic around major venues.

Revised public parking fees
Dubai’s public parking is divided into four zones – A, B, C, and D – each with its own pricing structure.
For on-street parking in Zone A, standard rates remain unchanged at Dh4 per hour. However, premium spaces will now cost Dh6 per hour during peak times, which are from 8 am to 10 am and 4 pm to 8 pm. Off-peak rates for premium parking will be Dh4 per hour. The cost doubles for longer durations, reaching Dh24 for four hours of parking during peak hours.
In Zone B, off-street parking fees will be split between peak and off-peak tariffs. Standard parking during peak hours will start at Dh4 for the first hour and increase to Dh16 for four hours. Premium parking will begin at Dh6 per hour and reach Dh24 for four hours during peak times. Off-peak rates are slightly lower, with standard parking costing Dh3 per hour and premium at Dh6 per hour. A full-day parking rate of Dh40 will apply for premium parking in Zone B, while standard parking will be available for Dh30.
For Zone C, on-street parking rates follow a similar structure. Standard peak-hour charges will be Dh4 per hour, while premium parking will cost Dh6. Off-peak pricing remains uniform at Dh2 per hour. Longer stays will see costs reaching Dh24 for four hours in premium spots. Unlike other zones, Zone C does not offer a flat day rate.
Zone D, another off-street parking area, will also introduce peak and off-peak pricing. During peak hours, standard parking will be Dh4 per hour, rising to Dh16 for four hours, while premium parking will start at Dh6 per hour, reaching Dh24 for four hours. Off-peak tariffs remain more affordable at Dh2 per hour, going up to Dh7 for four hours. For those planning a full day’s stay, standard parking will be available for Dh20, while premium spaces will cost Dh30.
Premium and Event-specific parking charges
With Dubai hosting numerous high-profile events, a new event-specific pricing structure will be introduced. Parking near major event venues such as the Dubai World Trade Centre will now cost Dh25 per hour during exhibitions, conferences, and festivals. This measure is designed to manage high demand and ensure availability for visitors attending these events.
These event-specific charges will be implemented in February 2025, ahead of the broader parking fee changes rolling out in April.
Impact of Peak and Off-Peak pricing
