DUBAI – Apple’s “Awe Dropping” event is currently underway, streamed live from the Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino.

The keynote, which began at 9pm UAE time, is revealing a range of new products, including the highly anticipated iPhone 17 lineup, alongside the Apple Watch Series 11, Watch Ultra 3, and Watch SE 3.

Apple Watch Ultra 3

Apple has announced the Apple Watch Ultra 3, featuring the largest display ever on an Apple Watch. The third-generation Ultra arrives with thinner bezels, brighter visuals, and a faster refresh rate in always-on mode, allowing users to view ticking seconds continuously. It is built with durability in mind, offering enhanced water and dust resistance.

The Ultra 3 introduces 5G connectivity for faster communication and satellite messaging for emergencies, while its optimised battery provides up to 42 hours of life. Available in natural and black titanium finishes, the device is now open for pre-orders, with deliveries starting on September 19. Pricing begins at $799.

Apple Watch Series 11

Alongside the Ultra, Apple unveiled the Watch Series 11, designed for everyday use. The model comes with a brighter display for better visibility outdoors, powered by the new S11 chip that improves performance and efficiency. With watchOS 26, the device includes AI-powered tools such as the “Workout Buddy” and personalised health insights.

Most notably, Series 11 can now indicate hypertension by monitoring blood flow response to heartbeats. It continues to feature blood oxygen tracking, while its battery offers up to 24 hours of use. The Series 11 starts at $399, with pre-orders open today.

Apple Watch SE 3

For those seeking a more affordable option, Apple introduced the Watch SE 3. The refreshed model features the S10 chip, an always-on display, faster charging that is two times quicker than its predecessor, and support for 5G. It also debuts new health tracking features, including sleep apnoea detection.

In addition to the smartwatch range, Apple has revealed the new AirPods Pro 3, featuring live translation and a heart rate sensor. Still to come is the unveiling of the iPhone 17 series, including the standard iPhone 17, the slimmer iPhone 17 Air, and the advanced Pro and Pro Max models. All devices will ship with iOS 26.
