Emirates ends 2025 on high with five new global travel awards
Dubai-based airline recognised for customer service, inflight entertainment and First Class excellence
DUBAI – Emirates is finishing 2025 on a sky-high note after winning five more global accolades at the 32nd annual World Travel Awards in Bahrain.
These latest honours add to the airline’s impressive portfolio of over 20 awards earned this year, highlighting Emirates as a leading global airline brand.
The recognitions celebrate the airline’s inflight entertainment system ice, its First Class service and lounges, and the Skywards loyalty programme, further cementing Emirates’ reputation for premium travel experiences.
World Travel Awards 2025
The latest accolades from the World Travel Awards include: World’s Leading Airline Brand 2025; World’s Leading Airline Inflight Entertainment 2025; World’s Leading Airline Rewards Programme 2025 for Emirates Skywards; World’s Leading Airline – First Class 2025; and World’s Leading Airline Lounge – First Class 2025 for the Emirates First Class Lounge at Emirates Terminal 3, Dubai International Airport. These awards underscore Emirates’ dominance across multiple facets of aviation service.
Global recognition
In November, Emirates was named ‘Best Airline in the World’ for the eighth consecutive year at the ULTRAs travel awards, based on votes from Ultratravel’s network of 1.2 million travellers.
The airline also won ‘Airline with the Best Premium Economy Class’, while President Sir Tim Clark received a ‘Lifetime Achievement Award for Services to Global Aviation’. Aviation Business Middle East further recognised Emirates with ‘Best First Class of the Year’ and ‘Airline of the Year’ awards.
Forbes Travel Guide Verified Air Travel Awards 2025 also acknowledged Emirates with titles including ‘Best International Airline’, ‘Best International First Class’, and ‘Best International Airline Lounge’. Additionally, The Times and The Sunday Times Travel Awards 2025 named Emirates ‘Best Long-Haul Airline’, while Sir Tim Clark received the Distinguished Achievement Award from the Wings Club Foundation.
