UAE Lottery expands with two new digital games offering prizes up to Dh1.25m
The Game LLC and EQL Games ink multi-year deal
ABU DHABI: The UAE Lottery, the country’s first and only federally licensed lottery regulated by the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA), has entered into a multi-year partnership with EQL Games.
The agreement, finalised by The Game LLC – the operator behind The UAE Lottery – marks a significant leap forward in interactive gaming for the region. This strategic collaboration introduces EQL Games as the digital content provider for The UAE Lottery’s rapidly evolving iLottery platform. With over 20 studios already managed under its umbrella and additional developers expected to join, EQL Games is set to provide both proprietary and third-party games tailored for the UAE market.
According to the deal, EQL Games will deliver content from its existing portfolio and facilitate access to any requested third-party products. The alliance ensures sustained innovation and game diversity, reinforcing The UAE Lottery’s commitment to providing world-class entertainment while scaling its player base.
UAE Lottery: New games
Adding to the momentum of this partnership, two new digital games – Marble Run and Lucky Lagoon – have officially launched on The UAE Lottery platform. Developed by Random State, one of EQL Games’ studio partners, these games promise fast-paced action and high-reward mechanics designed to captivate players.
In Marble Run, participants pick one of five racing marbles and choose a ticket price from Dh5, 10, 20, 30, 40, or 50. As the selected marble travels down a dynamic track filled with obstacle-based multipliers, winnings can fluctuate based on the marble’s final position. Prizes are awarded to those finishing in the top three, with a jackpot of up to Dh1 million.
Lucky Lagoon, by contrast, dives into an underwater setting where players select ticket values similar to Marble Run and search for matching fish pairs hidden in decorative eggs. Players reveal treasure chests along the way, culminating in a chance to unlock the sunken pirate ship by matching all fish pairs across three zones. The game features 23 prize tiers, with rewards reaching up to Dh1.25 million.
Market strategy
Bishop Woosley, Director of Lottery Operations at The Game LLC, said the partnership was strategically planned for its long-term potential and creative impact.
“When looking for a provider that could deliver the diversity of lottery content that we were looking for and the ability to deliver on a short timeline, EQL Games was an easy choice,” he said. “These innovative games bring fresh experiences with dynamic gameplay and great prize opportunities, and we’re confident they’ll resonate with our growing player base.”
EQL Games CEO Brad Cummings expressed his enthusiasm for entering one of the world’s most exciting emerging lottery markets. “We are thrilled to be named the third-party content supplier for the UAE’s new iLottery platform,” Cummings said. “These incredible games by Random State represent the first of many content options our iLottery Marketplace will deliver for this market over time.”
As part of its expansion strategy, EQL will also work closely with The Game LLC to determine the best game formats for local preferences and continuously introduce fresh titles to meet demand.
Responsible play
While adding an entertainment edge to the Emirates’ digital gaming landscape, The UAE Lottery continues to prioritise player safety. Operated under the regulations of the GCGRA, the platform is strictly for participants aged 18 and over.
The Game LLC has committed to maintaining responsible gaming practices through robust systems and socially responsible initiatives.
