Vertiv appoints Mike Giresi as Global Chief Information Officer
Over 30 years of IT leadership experience across major global companies
DUBAI: Vertiv (NYSE: VRT), a global provider of critical digital infrastructure, has named Mike Giresi as its new global Chief Information Officer (CIO), effective 30 June 2025.
Giresi will be responsible for advancing the company’s digital and AI transformation across various business functions, including cybersecurity, product security, and customer-centric digital experiences.

He noted Giresi’s deep understanding of the fast-evolving AI and IT space, citing his experience and execution-focused mindset as crucial to enhancing the company's competitive edge.
Extensive track record
Giresi brings over three decades of IT experience, with more than 20 years in executive leadership roles. Most recently, he served as Chief Digital Officer at Molex, a global electronics company. His past roles include Chief Digital & Technology Officer at Aramark, CIO of Royal Caribbean Cruises, Ltd., and CIO positions at Tory Burch, Direct Brands, and Godiva Chocolatier.

He added that the focus will remain on evolving Vertiv’s customer experience, product development, and manufacturing capabilities to enable faster AI and digital adoption across hyperscale, enterprise, and edge environments.

Vertiv, headquartered in Westerville, Ohio, operates in over 130 countries. The company combines hardware, software, analytics and services to support mission-critical infrastructure in data centres, communications networks, and industrial facilities. Giresi holds an EMBA from Saint Joseph’s University and a BA in English and Information Systems from Seton Hall University.
