DUBAI – The Dubai Press Club has opened applications for the third edition of the Arab Podcast Program, offering aspiring content creators in the UAE an opportunity to gain professional training in one of the fastest-growing digital media formats.
The three-week initiative begins on 13 July at the Dubai Press Club headquarters and is backed by leading regional and international digital platforms and media organisations.
Applicants have until 12 July to complete their registration through the official portal.

The Arab Podcast Program is open to applicants aged between 18 and 35 who reside in the UAE. Participants are required to have strong Arabic communication skills and a reasonable understanding of technology.
Those interested in joining can submit their applications through the Dubai Press Club website before the closing date of 12 July. Successful applicants will take part in an intensive programme designed to help them transform podcast ideas into professional productions.
How to apply
Applying for the programme is straightforward:
- Visit the Dubai Press Club registration portal
- Complete the online application before 12 July
- Ensure you meet the eligibility requirements, including age, UAE residency and Arabic language proficiency
- Await confirmation from the organisers if selected for the programme
The training begins on 13 July and runs for three weeks at the Dubai Press Club headquarters in Dubai.
What you'll learn
Participants will receive hands-on training from an experienced group of podcasters, media experts and trainers from across the Arab world. The curriculum covers every stage of podcast production, from developing an idea and identifying a target audience to recording, editing, publishing and marketing content.
According to Dubai Press Club Director Maryam Al Mulla, the third edition builds on the achievements of the previous two programmes by offering more specialised training that reflects the changing needs of both the podcast industry and modern content creators.
She said the curriculum combines editorial, creative, technical and commercial knowledge while giving participants practical opportunities to engage directly with industry professionals. The aim is to help aspiring podcasters refine their concepts and develop sustainable, professional podcast projects.
Final evaluation
At the end of the programme, every completed project will be assessed by a panel of experts in August. Three outstanding participants will be selected as winners and recognised during the official graduation ceremony, which will take place as part of Dubai PodFest 2026 during the Arab Media Summit next September.
Highlighting the programme's broader vision, Mona Ghanem Al Marri, Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of the Dubai Media Council and President of the Dubai Press Club, said the initiative reflects Dubai's continued commitment to media as a key partner in shaping the future.
She noted that podcasting has become one of the most influential forms of new media, creating opportunities for creativity, knowledge exchange and meaningful Arabic content while supporting Dubai's ambition to foster media innovation and strengthen the competitiveness of Arab media across regional audiences.
