Sahir Ali Bagga electrifies Dubai at Pakistan Independence Day celebrations
Sahir Ali Bagga headlined the 78th Pakistan Independence Day celebrations at Dubai Exhibition Centre in Expo City Dubai, an event that drew over 60,000 attendees, making it the largest such gathering worldwide.
The day-long festivities featured cultural performances, traditional attire, and Pakistani cuisine, attended by dignitaries including Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan and Pakistan’s Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi.
Bagga, renowned for his Coke Studio appearances and film soundtracks, delivered a powerful live performance alongside artists such as Natasha Baig and Yousuf Bashir Qureshi.
The celebration showcased Pakistan’s diverse cultural heritage and the strong UAE–Pakistan ties, with participation from performers representing all provinces, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
