The move places the area under parking code 248W, with clear signage now installed across designated spaces.
The system is operated by Parkin Company PJSC, the emirate’s largest provider of paid public parking facilities and services. Authorities confirmed that the parking scheme has officially been implemented, with the aim of improving traffic management and ensuring easier access in areas that attract regular visitor traffic.
Parking tariffs
Drivers arriving in Wasl Village will notice new signboards identifying the paid parking zones and displaying the applicable tariffs. The parking system operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, offering round-the-clock availability for motorists.
The newly introduced zone follows a tiered hourly pricing system. The cost increases gradually depending on the duration of the stay.
The official tariffs in the Wasl Village parking zone (248W) are:
- 30 minutes – Dh2
- 1 hour – Dh4
- 2 hours – Dh8
- 3 hours – Dh12
- 4 hours – Dh16
These tariffs place the neighbourhood within Dubai’s higher-tariff parking zones, which are generally applied in areas with higher demand for parking spaces. The approach aims to encourage quicker turnover of parking bays, making spaces more readily available for visitors.

- 8:00 pm to 12:00 midnight
A free parking window is available every day between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm, allowing motorists to park without charges during the evening break period.
As with most paid parking zones across Dubai, Sundays and public holidays remain free.

While Wasl Village now operates under paid parking regulations, several nearby locations still offer free parking options.
Authorities confirmed that 24-hour free parking is available at the following locations:
- Al Khail Gate
- Fruit & Vegetable Market
- Wasl Green Park
In addition, these areas also provide free parking during the daily 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm window, consistent with the broader parking schedule applied across many zones in the emirate.
