European share reaches 16.1% of multinational companies in Dubai
Asian firms lead Dubai International Chamber’s H1 2025 company influx
DUBAI – Dubai International Chamber, operating under the umbrella of Dubai Chambers, has reported that 58% of the multinational companies (MNCs) it brought to the city in the first half of 2025 were from Asia.
The data reflects Dubai’s strengthening role as a hub for international investment and corporate growth.
Europe ranked second with 16.1% of the MNCs attracted, followed by the Middle East and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) with 12.9%. Africa and the Americas each accounted for 6.5% of the companies drawn to the emirate during the period.
How did SMEs perform?
Asia also dominated the small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) segment, contributing 49.1% of the total. The Middle East and CIS combined made up 22.3%, Africa 11.6%, Europe 9.8%, and the Americas 7.1%. Overall, the chamber reported year-on-year growth of 138% in the number of companies attracted during H1 2025.
