DUBAI – A Dubai-based Russian real estate broker has won the $1 million top prize in the latest Millennium Millionaire draw conducted by Dubai Duty Free at Dubai International Airport.

The winner, 37-year-old Vitalli Gamaiunov, has been living in Dubai for four years and secured the life-changing prize in Series 546. He purchased the winning ticket at Concourse B on May 21 and later discovered his win after being announced as the lucky entrant.

The result adds another milestone to the long-running promotion that continues to attract global participants.

Big win

Gamaiunov, who works as a real estate agent, won with ticket number 2511 and said he had only purchased his third ticket in the promotion. He described the outcome as overwhelming and said he was still processing the news.

The win also marked the third time a Russian national has claimed the $1 million prize since the Millennium Millionaire draw began in 1999.

The announcement highlighted the continued international reach of the programme, which regularly features winners from across the expatriate community in the UAE.
