Dubai to welcome South India’s biggest musical celebration with Thaalam Beats
Benny Dayal, Usha Uthup and Thaikkudam Bridge to unite for live concert spectacle
DUBAI – The sounds of South India are set to fill Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena on 15 August 2026 as Thaalam Beats brings together celebrated artists, iconic melodies and a celebration of musical heritage.
The highly anticipated live concert will feature playback singer Benny Dayal, legendary performer Usha Uthup and acclaimed fusion band Thaikkudam Bridge on one stage. The event will offer audiences a vibrant mix of nostalgia, rhythm and contemporary sounds as part of Dubai Summer Surprises.
Designed as a celebration of South Indian music and culture, Thaalam Beats will take audiences through a rich musical journey featuring Malayalam, Tamil and contemporary influences. The evening will showcase timeless classics, folk-inspired melodies, energetic fusion performances and popular hits, creating a diverse experience for music lovers.
Star line-up
The concert brings together three distinctive names from the South Indian music scene. Benny Dayal, known for his versatile playback performances across multiple Indian languages, will headline the event alongside Usha Uthup, whose decades-long career has made her one of India’s most recognisable music icons.
Joining them will be Thaikkudam Bridge, the Kerala-based fusion band celebrated for blending traditional Indian sounds with rock, folk and modern musical elements. Together, the artists will create a stage experience that combines different generations of South Indian music.
Thaalam Beats
Thaalam Beats will take place on Saturday, 15 August 2026, at Coca-Cola Arena, Dubai, with the show scheduled to begin at 8pm. Tickets are available through authorised booking channels, with electronic tickets delivered before the event date.
Visitors under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult or parent aged 18 or above. All attendees, including children above 12 months, require a valid ticket for entry into Coca-Cola Arena.
For guests looking for an elevated experience, the Elevate Deck package includes fast-track entry, a private cocktail table for four guests, two drinks per guest, sharing boards served at the table and access to an exclusive bar area.
How to reach there
Coca-Cola Arena is located in the City Walk area and can be reached easily by car via Sheikh Zayed Road, taking Exit 47 towards Al Safa Street and following signs for City Walk. Guests travelling by metro can use the Red Line and exit at Dubai Mall/Burj Khalifa Metro Station, followed by a short walk to the venue.
Taxi services are also available, with the arena recognised as a well-known Dubai destination.
Organisers have advised guests to purchase tickets only through authorised platforms, warning that tickets purchased from unofficial resale websites may not be valid for entry. Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled or rescheduled, while validated tickets cannot be used for re-entry.
Patrons are also required to follow venue rules, with prohibited items including smoking materials, drugs and weapons. Camera and recording restrictions may apply depending on event guidelines.
