UAE Netball Cup 2025 begins with captains’ gathering at Dubai Frame
Here’s how fans can stream matches and attend the live tournament
DUBAI: Team captains from six nations on Sunday came together at the iconic Dubai Frame to officially launch the inaugural UAE Netball Cup 2025 at Al Nasr Sports Hall.
Against the backdrop of the Dubai skyline, captains from the UAE, USA, Republic of Ireland, Singapore, Kenya, and Namibia posed for a symbolic photo, signalling the start of a thrilling week of international netball.
The competition is being hosted by the UAE Netball Federation in partnership with Falcon and Associates and Dubai Sports Council, and is supported by Title Sponsor Dubai Holding Community Management. Matches will take place in a round-robin format before the finals on Saturday, 21 June.
Opening match
The tournament began with a face-off between the UAE and the USA at 1pm on Sunday, 15 July. Matches can be streamed live via Netball Pass and the UAE Netball YouTube Channel, offering fans global access to the action.

Netball in the UAE
Netball has a legacy of over 40 years in the UAE. In 2010, Active Netball introduced structured leagues and coaching beyond school platforms, strengthening grassroots participation and competitive clubs. The UAE Netball Federation was formed in 2017 to further grow the sport and has since become a member of both Europe Netball and World Netball.
Currently ranked 23rd in the World Netball Rankings, the UAE continues its mission to increase international exposure and bring elite-level netball to the region.
