VFS Global expands contract verification access for Filipino workers across Saudi Arabia
Digital-first system enables seamless booking, payments and document submission process
DUBAI – VFS Global has expanded access to employment contract verification services for Filipino workers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with the launch of new centres in Riyadh, Dammam and Jeddah.
The initiative is designed to bring essential services closer to overseas Filipino workers (OFWs), reducing travel requirements and waiting times.
Developed in partnership with DBP Data Center Inc., the service is expected to process approximately 34,500 applications annually. The rollout reflects a growing focus on technology-led, accessible consular support across the region.
Service rollout
The new Contract Verification Service centres operate under the Migrant Workers Office framework, managed by the Migrant Workers Office, and are located in three major Saudi cities: Riyadh, Dammam and Jeddah. Previously, applicants were required to visit the MWO in Riyadh, creating logistical challenges for those based in other regions. With the new expansion, OFWs can now access services within their local cities, improving convenience and reducing administrative burden.
VFS Global’s network expansion in Saudi Arabia also follows earlier openings in Dubai and Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates, strengthening regional service coverage for Filipino communities abroad. The centres are positioned as fully equipped service points offering streamlined access to contract verification, aligned with Philippine government standards to safeguard worker welfare and ensure compliance.
Digital process
The new system integrates a digital-first approach, allowing applicants to book appointments and complete payments online before visiting the centre for in-person document submission. Walk-in services are also available, offering flexibility for users with urgent requirements. Once verification is completed by the Migrant Workers Office, applicants receive email notifications enabling them to access their Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC) and verified contract.

The platform also features real-time application tracking and secure online payment options, improving transparency and reducing processing uncertainty. According to VFS Global Chief Commercial Officer Jiten Vyas, the initiative leverages the company’s established network across Saudi Arabia to bring services closer to Filipino nationals, reinforcing its long-standing support for consular and passport-related services since 2019 across multiple countries.
Regional expansion
The launch forms part of a broader effort to enhance service accessibility for Filipino workers in the Gulf region. VFS Global currently provides Philippines ePassport renewal services across Saudi Arabia through three centres, alongside regularly scheduled Passport on Wheels (POW) operations in locations without permanent facilities.
In addition, the organisation offers a range of consular services, including police clearance, National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) clearance endorsement, notarial and affidavit processing, passport extension and travel document support. These services aim to provide comprehensive administrative assistance for Filipinos living and working in the Kingdom.
