Top Pakistani envoy receives highest civilian order in UAE
Honour recognises Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi’s role in deepening bilateral ties
ABU DHABI – President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has conferred the prestigious First-Class Order of Zayed II on Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, Pakistan’s Envoy to the United Arab Emirates.
The honour recognises his distinguished diplomatic services and his contributions to strengthening the deep-rooted relations between Pakistan and the UAE.
The decoration was presented to Ambassador Tirmizi by Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during a meeting held in Abu Dhabi. Al Marar extended greetings and best wishes on behalf of President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs. He commended the ambassador’s commitment to enhancing the historic and brotherly relations shared by both nations.

Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi expressed his appreciation, describing the recognition as an “overwhelmingly delightful and deeply humbling” honour. Conveying the greetings of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan, he extended heartfelt thanks to the UAE leadership and its people for their continued support.
