DUBAI – Residents across the United Arab Emirates (UAE) can expect partly cloudy to occasionally cloudy skies on Monday, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).

The met department has forecast a chance of light rainfall over some coastal and northern areas, alongside a gradual rise in temperatures.

Light to moderate winds will blow from the southeasterly to northeasterly directions, occasionally reaching speeds of up to 40 km/h.

Temperature outlook

Dubai and Sharjah are expected to reach daytime highs of 24ºC, while Abu Dhabi will peak at 25ºC.

Nighttime lows will drop to 15ºC in Abu Dhabi, 16ºC in Dubai, and 13ºC in Sharjah. The increase in temperatures comes alongside the chance of brief rainfall, primarily affecting coastal regions.

Winds and tides

Winds will remain light to moderate, with gusts intensifying at times. Sea conditions in the Arabian Gulf will range from slight to moderate. High tides are forecast at 12:55 and 03:16, while low tides will occur at 20:26 and 07:28.

Meanwhile, the Sea of Oman will remain slight, with high tides at 09:32 and 23:05, and low tides at 16:16 and 05:06.

Clouds and rain

Coastal and northern regions may witness scattered showers as clouds move across the skies. The overall weather pattern indicates mild conditions with no severe disruptions expected, making Monday generally suitable for outdoor activities.
