DUBAI – Saudi Arabia’s national carrier, Saudia, has announced a major fare promotion offering travellers up to 50 per cent off on international routes.

The limited-time offer applies to both round-trip and transit flights across its extensive network, available for booking in both Business and Guest Class.

Passengers can take advantage of the discounted fares between 17 and 31 August, with the promotion valid for travel scheduled from 1 September to 10 December. Reservations can be made through Saudia’s digital platforms, including its website, mobile app, and at official sales offices.

What’s on offer?

The airline’s special promotion is designed to encourage travel during autumn and early winter, with destinations spanning over 100 cities across four continents.

Travellers booking transit flights also benefit from Saudi Arabia’s digital Stopover Visa, which is automatically linked to their ticket. This visa permits a stay of up to 96 hours, offering visitors the chance to explore the Kingdom’s cultural landmarks or perform Umrah during their stopover.

How is Saudia expanding?

Saudia is continuing to invest in its transformation strategy, enhancing passenger services with digital solutions powered by artificial intelligence for seamless booking and check-in. The carrier’s network expansion is supported by a growing fleet of 149 aircraft, with further growth planned. In April 2024, the Saudia Group announced an order for 10 Airbus A330-900s for its low-cost subsidiary flyadeal, marking its first wide-body purchase to support new long-haul services.

The airline’s recent initiatives have also been recognised on the global stage. Also today, Saudia was awarded ‘Best in Class for Service-Guest Experience’ by the Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX). The honour highlights its role in delivering world-class hospitality, aligned with Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to position the Kingdom as a global tourism hub.
