Brand Dubai unveils Ramadan Recipes Guide featuring 40 dishes
Homegrown chefs and cafés share signature creations
DUBAI – As part of the citywide Ramadan in Dubai programme, Brand Dubai, the creative arm of the Government of Dubai Media Office, has launched a new Ramadan Recipes Guide showcasing the emirate’s rich and diverse culinary landscape.
Developed in collaboration with a select group of chefs, restaurants and cafés from the Proudly from Dubai network, the guide brings together nearly 40 curated recipes designed for the holy month. It aims to inspire home cooks while highlighting the creativity and cultural depth that define Dubai’s food scene.
The collection spans main courses, appetisers, desserts and baked goods, blending the authenticity of Emirati and Gulf cuisine with Arabic and international influences. From hearty meat and seafood dishes to light salads and indulgent Eastern and Western sweets, the guide reflects the multicultural character of the city’s dining sector.
Inspiring stories
Shaima Al Suwaidi, Director of Brand Dubai, said the initiative builds on Brand Dubai’s commitment to supporting Dubai’s entrepreneurial community and spotlighting creative talent that has emerged from the emirate. She noted that the food and beverage sector continues to produce inspiring success stories, with homegrown concepts gaining both local and international recognition.
According to Al Suwaidi, the guide highlights the exceptional diversity of Dubai’s culinary landscape while strengthening the presence of homegrown businesses through an innovative platform aligned with the spirit of Ramadan. The initiative also reflects values of sharing and generosity associated with the Holy Month.
She added that Brand Dubai is proud to feature Emirati chefs in this edition and remains committed to empowering them by providing broader opportunities to showcase their creativity. The platform, she said, reinforces support for national talent and enhances its competitiveness locally and globally.
Creative platform
Khawla Al Hashmi, Project Manager of the Proudly from Dubai initiative, said the guide reflects the initiative’s mission to empower homegrown businesses through creative platforms that expand their reach and strengthen engagement with the public.
This year’s edition places particular emphasis on diversity in participation. Chefs, restaurants and cafés representing multiple cultures have contributed, mirroring Dubai’s global character. The result is a Ramadan-focused culinary collection that brings together authenticity and renewal.
Al Hashmi noted that the culinary sector represents a vibrant space for creativity and entrepreneurship. Through the guide, participating members gain an opportunity to present their products and ideas to a wider audience, reinforcing their presence in a growing economic landscape that values innovation and quality.

The guide features contributions from prominent Emirati chefs including Ayesha Khoory, Halima Bahlooq, Abdulrahman Lootah, Ahmad Al Fardan and the Alghfeli Sisters.
