Dubai gold hits Dh404.75 after weekend surge
24K climbs Dh1 from Saturday as upward trend continues
DUBAI: Gold prices in Dubai have risen at the start of the new week, maintaining the upward momentum seen over the weekend.
As of Monday, 21 July 2025, the most traded 24K gold is retailing at Dh404.75 per gram, up by Dh1.00 from Saturday’s Dh403.75. The modest gain follows a midweek dip and signals a continuing recovery heading into the week.
Despite global spot gold prices remaining flat – trading at $3,352.19 per ounce in early morning hours – the Dubai market has seen back-to-back price increases since Saturday, driven by local retail demand.
Dubai gold rates
The 22K rate has risen to Dh374.75, showing a Dh0.75 increase from the Dh374.00 level on Saturday.
Meanwhile, 21K gold now trades at Dh359.50, up from Dh358.25, and 18K has edged up to Dh308.00, compared to Dh307.25 two days earlier.
Weekend momentum continues
Saturday’s lift had reversed a steady decline seen midweek, when rates had dropped from a high of Dh405.31 for 24K last Tuesday. Friday had closed with 24K at Dh402.25, before the recovery kicked in. Monday’s numbers confirm a stabilising trend, at least for now, amid consistent consumer interest.
Global trends steady
While Dubai rates show slight increases, US gold futures stayed firm at $3,358.70 per ounce, with traders globally awaiting key economic data. Dubai’s gold movement appears more reflective of local buying patterns than international volatility at the start of the week.
