Dubai carrier strikes new interline partnerships, linking over 300 destinations
Seamless single-ticket journeys now available across Europe and Asia
DUBAI – UAE airline flydubai has announced seven new interline agreements, marking a major step in expanding its global footprint.
The Dubai-based carrier now boasts more than 40 interline partners, collectively providing passengers with access to over 300 destinations worldwide across combined networks. The move connects Dubai with Europe, Asia and beyond through a growing web of strategic alliances.
New global links
The latest partnerships include Greece’s Aegean Airlines, Italy’s national carrier ITA Airways, Myanmar Airways International and four of China’s leading airlines – Air China, China Eastern Airlines, Hainan Airlines and Sichuan Airlines. Together, they significantly extend flydubai’s reach into key markets across Europe, the Far East and South-East Asia.
Through Aegean and ITA Airways, flydubai customers can seamlessly connect to more than 30 destinations in Europe, including major cities such as Amsterdam, Athens, Brussels, Frankfurt, Madrid, Munich, Thessaloniki, Turin and Venice. Meanwhile, the agreements with the Asian carriers open up over 90 additional destinations, including Beijing, Chongqing, Hangzhou, Ho Chi Minh City, Shanghai and Yangon.
These partnerships allow passengers to enjoy smoother travel through single-ticket itineraries and through-checked baggage, reducing transit time and enhancing overall convenience.
Strengthening connectivity
Ghaith Al Ghaith, Chief Executive Officer at flydubai, highlighted the carrier’s continuing mission to enhance accessibility and travel options. “Since 2009, we have remained committed to enhancing connectivity and facilitating free flows of trade and tourism,” said Al Ghaith. “These agreements will provide our passengers even more flexibility and choice when planning their travel, offering access to our partners’ route networks across key markets in Asia and Europe. At the same time, more passengers will be able to access Dubai as a leading destination for tourism and business.”
He added that the partnerships are expected to attract a new wave of passengers from beyond flydubai’s existing network. “We look forward to welcoming on board passengers from beyond our network, where they can discover our exciting destinations and enjoy a comfortable travel experience, whether they choose to fly in Business Class or Economy Class.”
Expanding destination choice
flydubai currently operates flights to more than 135 destinations, and its growing network continues to make travel more accessible across continents. With the latest partnerships, the airline’s combined network now offers connectivity to over 300 destinations. Beyond major cities, flydubai passengers can explore distinctive holiday spots such as AlUla, Basel, Krabi, Ljubljana, Mombasa, Muscat, Nairobi, Penang, Prague, Tashkent, The Red Sea and Zanzibar. These emerging destinations add a unique edge to the airline’s expanding portfolio, catering to both leisure and business travellers.
Onboard experience
flydubai’s modern fleet of 95 Boeing 737 aircraft is designed to deliver a comfortable journey, offering both Business Class and Economy Class options.
Passengers can enjoy internationally inspired menus, hours of inflight entertainment, and thoughtful cabin design aimed at comfort and convenience. Business Class travellers experience lie-flat seats and personalised service, while Economy Class passengers benefit from reclining seats and adjustable leather headrests.
