Bollywood superstar to bring global glamour to Dubai’s premier fashion event
DUBAI – One of the world’s most recognisable cultural icons, Shah Rukh Khan, will receive the Global Style Icon award at the Dubai Mall Global Fashion Awards.
This accolade solidifies the awards as a central highlight of the Dubai Mall Festival of Fashion, running from 29-30 January 2026.
The two-day festival transforms the world’s most visited shopping destination into a hub of fashion, culture, and global influence. Organised by Lana, the Festival culminates on 30 January with the Global Fashion Awards at the Armani Hotel Dubai, marking a spectacular finale to the programme.

Two days of fashion
The Festival begins with a curated programme of ticketed masterclasses on Day One, featuring influential figures in fashion and beauty. These sessions offer the public insight into industry creativity and expertise.
Day Two is headlined by the Dubai Mall Global Fashion Awards, featuring a runway presentation followed by an awards ceremony celebrating excellence across fashion, beauty, and cultural influence. Shah Rukh Khan’s attendance highlights the Festival’s international stature, placing one of the world’s most powerful cultural icons at the centre of Dubai’s premier fashion platform.
Dubai Mall experience
Since its inauguration in 2008, Dubai Mall has been the epicentre of modern retail and leisure in Dubai. Spanning 1.2 million square metres, it houses over 1,200 retail outlets and 200 international dining options.
